Ive always made profit everytime I do it, i usually wait till I have 3+ maps before I make the long haul out there. or leatherworking making deviate scale belts. they are lvl 18 blue item that twink rouges buy up like crazy. my server is pretty old and has alot of high levels so those belts go for 20g ea and farming the perfect deviate scales is easy just goto the wailing caverns in the barrens. but if your on a pvp server, this might be a little challenging :P Edit: at your level the best bet is heading to the barrens and getting deviate scale and perfected deviate scales. Questing will get you a lot of money, as well as running instances and selling everything you get in your gathering profsesion (if you have one).
