As for a secondary profession, Herbalism is pure money. Jewelcrafting goes along with mining and can be used to make money, but costs a lot to level. Enchanting is stand-alone, it costs money to level, but can also make a big profit. Some high money items you might want to farm: Black Tabby cat (horde only) drops from dalaran spellscribe (level 15ish, 15% chance, rare spawn though) in silverpine forest or any dalaran npc in altarac mountains (level 30ish, 1/1000 chance). Sells 1000g on most servers Tiny Crimson Dragon Whelpling - drops from red, flaming, and crimson whelps in wetlands, level 24-27. 1/1000 chance. Anywhere between 500 and 3000g.
